Michelle Te Kira, of Ngāti Porou descent, has been a dedicated advocate for equitable healthcare since 2005. As the General Manager of Three Rivers Medical in Gisborne, a practice serving nearly 20,000 patients, she is deeply engaged in addressing the needs of high-needs and Māori populations.

Michelle has had key roles in health sector governance, is a current RNZCGP assessor and is the past Executive Chair of the Practice Managers and Administrators Association of New Zealand (PMAANZ).

She is a firm believer in GenPro’s role in addressing funding gaps and advancing healthcare for vulnerable communities.
