MECA Subscription Service

GenPro provides an optional subscription service to represent Employers at the PHC (Primary Health Care) MECA (Multi-Employer Collective Agreement) pay bargaining negotiations and provide year-round advice on the interpretation and local implementation of the MECA by Employers. General practice and urgent care centre employers can subscribe to GenPro's PHC MECA representation service.

This service is offered on an annual subscription basis so employers can plan and manage their representation costs, irrespective of how long the pay bargaining and contract settlement may take to ensure the credible, professional and efficient completion of your pay bargaining responsibilities.

This covers:

  • Attendance/representation at all bargaining meetings
  • Pre-work and reading
  • Professional employment/HR advice on the process
  • Legal advice
  • Regular communications regarding process and claims
  • Ratification process.

Please read the terms and conditions carefully on the application form and refer here (Collective Bargaining | Employer Guides | Employsure) for further information about the rules and regulations of the MECA process and your legal responsibilities as an employer.
